Applying For Promotion

This is where I tell you exactly what you have to be able to do in order to be promoted for each level. I also give you the promotion forms to post to try and recieve a promotion. You will also see that to be promoted to Experienced Newborn you must have certain things in your gallery, this is just so we can see more of what you can do. Also, you cannot be promoted more than two levels a promotion, you cannot apply for promotion more than once a month!

To be promoted to Experienced Newborn:

You must have good image placement and have tried using brushes with some success.
In your gallery you must have:
At least 3 signatures
At least 1 signature/ icon set
At least 2 sets of four or more icons
Have at least 1 graphic with sucessful brush useage

You must have mastered image placement, be able to use brushes successfully, be able to use text with some effectiveness, and are beginning to experiment with coloring. Must have entered at least one challenge (active or finished).

You must have mastered image placement, be able to use brushes successfully, be able to use and know when and how to use text effectively, are using coloring when appropriate, are starting to experiment with textures, and have made at least one attepmt at a colorization. Must have entered two challenges (active or finished).

To be promoted to Controlled Vampire:

You must have mastered image placement, be able to use brushes successfully, be able to know when and how to use text & fonts effectively, you must be able to use coloring with good consistence, be able to use textures effectively, know when to use a brush rather than a texture and vise versa, and have good consistence with colorizations and are starting to create their own defining style. Must be entered in two challenges (active or finished), and replied helfully in a critique thread.

To be promoted to Tame Vampire:

You must have mastered image placement, be able to use brushes successfully, know when and how to use text & fonts effectively, must be able to use coloring with effectiveness, are able to use textures successfully with the exception of a couple graphics, know when to use a brush rather than a texture and vise versa, be able to create a good colorization easily, are starting to use a unique style consistently. Must be entered in two currently active challenges, replied helpfully in a critique thread and have made one challenge suggetion.

To be promoted to Elder:

You must have image placement mastered; no exceptions, you must be able to use brushes and textures to their full potential, must have coloring mastered, must know when and when not to use the different tools in their program, are able to create stunning colorizations and graphics in general, have their own unique style. You must have won more than two challenges, have entered three currently active challenges, helped someone in a critique thread, posted at least one tutorial and have submitted a number of challenge suggestions.
